Morinaga Milk Cocoa Bun
Normally, when you’re in a supermarket or a convenience store and you see a chocolate bun of some sort in the bread section, it LOOKS delicious, but when you buy it, it’s dry and bitter and disappointing. This thing, on the other hand (which I got for 30 yen off!) is moist, soft, and sweet, with some chocolate whipped cream inside. Easily the best chocolate cake-like thing I’ve ever had in Japan.

Kit-Kat Sports Drink Flavour, supporting pro-soccer in Asia.
In my ongoing quest to document bizarre friggin’ Kit-Kats from around the country, I came across this offering in my local Lawson. They’re allegedly “Sports Drink” flavoured, and are allegedly in support of the JFA Dream Asia Project, and soccer in Asia generally.
My initial image of these is that they were going to taste of Pocari Sweat, but upon tasting, that’s not entirely true. Turns out they actually taste more like Aquarius. Aquarius-flavoured Kit-Kat. It’s bizarre, but delicious.

Fuji-shaped Chocolate
It’s kind of blurry, but this is probably the quaintest omiyage I’ve ever gotten. Look! It’s chocolate! It’s shaped like Mt. Fuji! ^_^???
