New, Limited Edition Pringles. It’s got a bit of a honey mustard flavour. It’s pretty delicious. Dunno what makes it OLD AMERICAN CIRCUS though. Silly Pringles.

Soft, delicious caramel chip cookies~
I saw these at Lion D’or, too, as I did with the cocoa/white chocolate ones. They’re bleeding fantastic. A really rich caramel taste in a soft, chewy, delicious cookie. For less than 200yen for 10 cookies, this is really great.

I love nashi, and I love chu-hi, but this was cloyingly sweet. It was like sugar sugar sugar, and not really nashi-tasting at all. It was… um… however much chu-hi costs at convenience stores? (shrug)
These spicy chicken karaage potato chips have a slight bbq taste, as well as the chicken taste.
These were 105yen at 7-11. Pretty average, but good for fried chicken flavoured chips. As good as you can expect for 105yen from 7-11, I guess…
Potato Chips are made of potato... so of course they taste of potato? But the bacon is perfect.
I saw these at my local Lion D’or today for 168yen. I <3 special edition stuff, and also autumn stuff, and also bacon stuff, sooooo yeah. The bacon reminds me of some Smoky Bacon potato chips I used to have when I’d visit my dad when I was in elementary school, so way back in the early 90s. It’s not as strong as those ones were, but it’s subtle and delicious.

Summery tasting, and the colour of soap!
Ramune is a sweet, fizzy drink that is popular in Japan in summer. It comes in a glass bottle with a marble sealing it which rattles around while you try to drink etc. These limited edition Kit-Kat have been around most of the summer. They’re pretty shockingly green! The colour of soap! But they don’t taste like soap!
And they have a strong smell! Of ramune! And they taste like ramune! It’s bizarre! That never happens! ￥292 at Lawson.
Kit-Kat Sports Drink Flavour, supporting pro-soccer in Asia.
In my ongoing quest to document bizarre friggin’ Kit-Kats from around the country, I came across this offering in my local Lawson. They’re allegedly “Sports Drink” flavoured, and are allegedly in support of the JFA Dream Asia Project, and soccer in Asia generally.
My initial image of these is that they were going to taste of Pocari Sweat, but upon tasting, that’s not entirely true. Turns out they actually taste more like Aquarius. Aquarius-flavoured Kit-Kat. It’s bizarre, but delicious.
Promotional Gimmick Pringles AHOY
I saw these the same time I saw the previously mentioned Cheese Potato Pringles. For ￥128 at Lawson, there’s really no harm in giving them a go, yes?
They’re good. They’re not BBQ, and there’s not really anything chicken about them, but they sort of give me a feeling of uh… phở, or thai red curry. There’s a little bit of a vinegary taste, but not a sour kick, it just brings a bit of sweetness out of the other spices. You know what I mean? I can’t explain well. Oh god how did this get here, I am not good with food.
